We cooked food for

Food at XMMO is made in-house, not poured from a bag. Our co-founder Tiara, a qualified veterinary nurse, has spent years researching feline nutrition to formulate meals specifically for our guests. We rotate between balanced raw and gently cooked diets to deliver complete, species-appropriate nutrition.
We do not feed dry kibble — by choice, not compromise.
Why we say NO to Royal Canin
Cats are obligate carnivores. Their bodies are designed to digest animal protein — not carbohydrates. Most dry foods, including many popular veterinary brands like ROYAL CANIN, rely on high carbohydrate content to form kibble. Cats lack the enzymes to process this efficiently, making dry food biologically inappropriate as a primary diet.
Raw & Cooked: Balance, Not Extremes
No single diet suits every cat. That’s why we rotate between raw and gently cooked meals. Raw supports natural nutrition and dental health, while cooked meals improve digestibility and safety for sensitive cats. This rotation ensures balanced nutrients, proper taurine intake, and dietary variety during longer stays.

We had an amazing experience with XMMO Cat Hotel and Spa! They did a fantastic job grooming our cat, who can sometimes be quite tough to handle, yet they managed it with great care and skill. We’ve also previously brought our other two cats here, and every time, the service has been exceptional. The place itself is so calm, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. The team is incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely lovely. We’re truly happy with our experience and highly recommend them!

My kittens had the pleasure of staying in the penthouse for a couple of weeks. They had not been away from me since I got them as rescues. I was worried they would fret. As if! They settled in very quickly and I doubt they missed me at all! They also got a groom before coming home. It was 5 star treatment all the way! Tiara, Ben and the XMMO team are excellent and I highly recommend the team and the services. We will be back to stay and get a trim again for sure!

Tried some groomer in the city but they usually stress my cats out a lot. Not XMMO though! I think the price is pretty reasonable for what they’re doing, and XMMO also sends you pictures of the grooming process so you can have some peace of mind. The booking process is smooth, and they’re also good with communication/quick to respond on Instagram. Even though they’re further out from the city now, we don’t mind driving out to get the cats groomed since it’s once every couple months anyway. My cats always come back smelling good and softer than before we leave them?? Tbh they look a little funny/scrappy after their haircut but the fur always grows back really nice! I’ll definitely keep going to XMMO for all my cat grooming needs :)

There’s no one I trust more than Thu and Ben at XMMO. I’ve been bringing my family of cats here for over 3 years now, and the grooming and styling service is second to none. It’s incredibly rare to find such a professional and caring grooming service in Melbourne.
Their cat hotels have been an absolute lifesaver whenever I’ve travelled overseas. I used to worry about who could give my cats the love and attention they’re used to — but honestly, XMMO probably spoils them more than I do! There have even been times they’ve come home and turned their noses up at their usual food because they got used to the custom-made meals from XMMO — haha!
Can’t recommend them highly enough. True professionals who genuinely care.
